Cathy Jacobsen
That’s me circa the 80’s. So how’d I get to here? Great question, I’d love to tell you, got a couple hours? Right, we’ll save that story for another day. Here’s the basics.
My love for accounting started in high school. I took an intro class and fell in love. Took some more classes in college, but then life happened, like a lot!
I’ve opened, run, and sold few businesses, always handling the bookkeeping. I’m the weirdo who loves to dive into a spreadsheet and figure out why the numbers aren’t balancing. So much that I went back to school at 40 something to finish my bachelors degree in Accounting.
After the last few years at a “real” job, I’ve decided to start out into my next adventure. Helping you make sense of the numbers and truly feel connected to your business I’ve been in your shoes, the office stuff is not your top priority. Let me handle it. I’m your trusted partner who “gets” your vibe and I’ll keep you grounded.

Can you work with my current accounting software?
Most likely. We prefer QuickBooks, but can migrate to most any cloud based software. During our initial consultation, talk about how we’ll simplify your systems for ease and flow.
How do you bill for services?
We provide a detailed proposal based on scope after learning about your volume, reporting needs, and vibe. Most clients receive a single monthly invoice for regular services.
Is my financial data secure?
Absolutely. We use encrypted connections, multi-factor authentication, and follow strict internal access controls. Your information is stored on SOC-compliant servers and never shared without permission.
